The University, 38th in the world in employability, according to the Emerging ranking for Times Higher Education

The University of Navarra ranks 38th among the best universities in the world in terms of employability, according to the GEURS 2025 ranking prepared by the consulting firm Emerging for Times Higher Education. The ranking is based on the opinion of more than 13,200 employers from 33 countries and 25 different business sectors, who cast more than 129,000 votes. According to the consultancy, its voters would be responsible for hiring around 1.3 million graduates during the year 2024. In total, some 250 universities are ranked, out of the 1,000 that can be voted on at survey of the ranking.
The University of Navarra's 38th position in the world places it second in Spain in employability out of the eight Spanish universities that appear in the ranking. Of these, only two are ranked in the top 50, IE University and the University of Navarra. By countries, the United States (with 52 universities), Germany (19) and France (20) lead the ranking in terms of issue of universities classified.
Business and academia, better connected
The University of Navarra, through the Internship Service and employment, offers training, advice and offers to its students. "The goal is that, during their programs of study of Degree and Master's Degree, they acquire competencies and tools to successfully face their entrance to the working world", explains Alfonso Vericat, director of the Internship and Internship Service and employment. Last academic year (2023-2024), more than 2,800 internships were managed, most of them extracurricular. "This is a figure that increases every year and that sample the proactivity of the students, who are concerned about acquiring professional experience before finishing their programs of study. Undoubtedly, doing internships in companies makes your curriculum vitae more attractive," he adds.
In addition, 186 training sessions and events with companies were organized during the past academic year. "We help to connect the university and business worlds. In this way, students are prepared and are clearer about what companies are looking for," says Alfonso Vericat. In addition to all this, there is personalized counseling. "Each year we have more than 2,000 personal sessions with students to provide them with professional guidance. At final, all this helps students to leave the course better prepared to find a job employment," he says.
