Professor José Bernal, elected member of the management committee of the association Spanish Canonists

The professor and Associate Dean of Alumni and Office of Academic Affairs of the School of Canon Law, José Bernal, has been elected member of the board Directive of the association Spanish Association of Canonists (AEC).
He will assume the position of Treasurer within the board Board of Directors and, among other things, he will carry out the balance sheet and the annual economic report of the institution, for its approval by the General Assembly. He shall also manage all matters relating to the economic activity of the ACS.
This is a position that Professor Bernal received in October, during the annual ACS conference . He assures that it is very gratifying for him to be able to collaborate with his colleagues at board in the fulfillment and development of the aims of the association, and in the representation of the association before society.
Bernal also sees it as "an opportunity to meet and interact with other people who love the Church and want to serve it by training and exercising the Church's law with expertise.
The association Spanish Canonists has 500 national and international members. They are scholars and operators of the Canon Law and of the ecclesiastical law of the state. They come from different backgrounds: university professors, judicial vicars and ecclesiastical judges, bishops, lawyers, etc...
