This Tuesday, January 16, the department of History, History of Art and Geography together with the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) of the University of Navarra organize the roundtable "Five curiosities about Navarra". This meeting, which will take place from 19:00 to 20:00 h. in the Ámbito Cultural of El Corte Inglés in Pamplona (C/Estella 9), is held on the occasion of the presentation of the free online course 'Navarra: History and culture'.
Juan José Pons, professor of Geography; Asunción Domeño, professor of Art History; Jesús María Usunáriz, professor of Modern History; Mercedes Galán, professor of History of Law; and María del Mar Larraza, professor of Contemporary History at the University of Navarra will speak at the roundtable .

Navarra: History and culture', free online courseThe MOOC -acronym in English for 'Massive Open Online Course'- "Navarra: History and Culture" covers in 10 study modules the trajectory of the region through its milestones in time and its artistic expressions. It defines the geographical peculiarities and the juridical framework of this territory to then stop at the Roman occupation, passing through the Age average, until the official foundation of the Kingdom. In this way, the student will be able to understand the changes in the last centuries that have given rise to contemporary Navarre and appreciate all its cultural richness.
Students can join at any time and complete the entire program until February 18 at 11:59 pm. registration and completion of the course is free of charge. The content is presented in audiovisual format; with complementary written material, self-evaluations and a forum in contact with the faculty.
