An international university art exhibition exhibition brings together 40 works of art from Spain, Mexico and Portugal

The money raised with the sample, organized by students of the School of Philosophy and Letters, will be destined to the research in contemporary art.

Students of the School of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Navarra have organized the 'I I International University Art exhibition '.goal to promote the creation and dissemination of the arts within the university environment.

The sample, which will be on display from today until April 26 at the entrance hall of Central Building, brings together more than 40 paintings by students from the University of Navarra, the School of Fine Arts of Guadalajara (Mexico), the School of Fine Arts of the University of Granada and the University of Torun (Poland).

This initiative, linked to the events being held on the occasion of the Patron Saint's Day of the Patron's Day of the School, is part of the project "Arte joven: una mirada hacia delante" (Young art: a look ahead) promoted by School. Next Friday, April 19, at 7 p.m., an event will be held to explain the idea of this international exhibition and two university professors, Carlos Naya and Jorge Latorre, will present a colloquium on contemporary art. Before closing the workshop, the wind quintet Doinu Eder will offer a concert with entrance free, at 8 pm.

Blind Auction

The money raised with this exhibition will be used to finance the line of research "Contemporary Art", of the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) of the University of Navarra. All the works on display will be part of a blind auction, that is, anyone can bid for a painting at the price they value by placing their bid in a sealed urn. The person with the highest suggested price of all the bids will be the beneficiary of the work.
