Published a new issue of "IDS. Journal of Young Humanists".

The second Issue of the magazine "IDS. Revista de Jóvenes Humanistas" is now available for your enquiry.
This second issue opens with the dossier "Beyond the canon: women artists, patrons and collectors". Coordinated by Isabel Escalera Fernandez and Lorena da Silva Vargas, from the University of Valladolid, it includes five articles: "Exotic, virile and virtuous: the visuality of indigenous women in the compendium of the Modern Age. The cases of Malinche and Pocahontas"; "Capable of defeating the devil. The satire of women in "Dulle Griet" by Pieter Bruegel the Elder"; "Bologna, mother of painters in the Modern Age"; "Juana Pimentel and the Chapel of Santiago of the Cathedral of Toledo: patronage, devotion and report"; and "The jewels of Mary I of England: between magnificence and symbolism".
The section "Research on Navarra" includes two articles: "An unpublished project by Domingo Áriz for the monument to the Immaculate Conception in Pamplona" and "Zubieta and Retegui, the blur of the report. Conservation and restoration, interventions in the photographic collection". The section "Varia" presents an article that analyzes the image of Judith in the history of art, and "Documents" offers the transcription, annotation and analysis of two texts: the diplomatic study of a 17th century inquisitorial process, and the family memoirs and testimonies of a Hungarian Jewish family that suffered the repression of the Nazi concentration camps.

"IDS. Revista de jóvenes humanistas" was born in 2023, with the purpose of serving as a platform for the publication of research by non-doctoral students (TFG, TFM, thesis , etc.), which represent a valuable and innovative contribution to the knowledge of the different humanistic disciplines, to discussion and reflection, and which contribute to enrich their academic life.
This academic publication is published annually and is aimed at final year Degree, Master's Degree and doctorate students from all over the world. Open access and ascribed to the Publishing Services of the University of Navarra, it is part of a professor innovation project with the same name.
