A total of 288 architects, technical architects, engineers and other professionals interested in being updated in the integration of new techniques and technologies in architecture and urban planning have been trained in recent months at the Course at update in Building of the Chair Saltoki Foundation.
The course consisted of four modules: electric vehicle + photovoltaics, thermal envelopes, indoor air quality and aerothermal energy. It began on May 19 of this year with the first module. In it, Miguel Garmendia, manager of Saltoki's area Photovoltaic, presented the regulatory framework and types of photovoltaic installations, as well as dealing with photovoltaic self-consumption, photothermal energy and isolated installations of the network. Finally, Enrique López, manager of Saltoki's area Electric Vehicle Charging Points, addressed the specific considerations for electric vehicles.
The second module, also held at the DICONA building in Saltoki on June 23, focused on thermal envelopes. Specifically, it dealt with the general concepts of ventilated facades, the inner and outer leaf, insulation, building rehabilitation, execution control, pathologies and, finally, aspects related to rules and regulations. On this occasion the manager of this training was Luis Matos, from group Saltoki.
The third module, indoor air quality, was given at DICONA by Juan Carlos Saiz, director technician of group Saltoki, on September 15. The session addressed the principles of existing pollutants in buildings and how to reduce and eliminate them with ventilation strategies, and the incorporation of the latest technologies provided by the market.
Finally, the fourth aerothermal module was offered at the School of Architecture and was given by Sergio framework, director technician of the Catalonia area of Saltoki. In it, different strategies for the integration of this technology in new buildings and rehabilitation were discussed, as well as its hybridization with traditional systems and renewable energies.
It was possible to participate in the four modules in person or online. From the Chair Saltoki Foundation we recommend fill in the course to obtain the certificate, issued by the University of Navarra. It can already be purchased by paying the price (if you have not yet done so, you have to fill in the form registration form and complete the payment).
The Chair Saltoki Foundation will soon inform about a new course for professionals interested in the subject.
