Laura Urbina (ISSA'17): "It has been an experience full of discoveries, opportunities and a lot work".

A 4th year student of Degree in Management Assistance, she has completed her internship at Thomson Reuters in Poland, where she is already working on her first employment contract.

"The results of the curricular internships abroad are noticeable", says Laura Urbina, 4th year student of Degree in attendance Management. She says it with knowledge of cause: she has not yet handed in the work End of Degree and has already signed her first contract with the Polish delegation of Thomson Reuters, a company of technological solutions and intelligent information for companies and professionals. He has done his internship there. On Saturday 3rd June she will return to Pamplona for her graduation ceremony. She is one of the 47 students of the LI promotion of ISSA School of Management Assistants and the first to have completed the four years of Degree in Pamplona.

"It has changed my life, it has been an experience full of discoveries, opportunities and a lot work. The internship has allowed me to learn professionally but also to meet new people from different cultures and to discover myself", she says with the emotion of someone who is living a great experience challenge. The curricular internships allow students to put into practice the teaching content acquired throughout the course internship degree program . They are compulsory for all Degree students, last between 3 and 5 months and are carried out in the last semester of the degree program in national or international companies.

During the internship she has worked as a market analyst in the fixed income sector in several countries in the financial markets of Africa, the Middle East and Europe. What she liked the most about the experience was the ethics and the pace of the business; the team atmosphere, composed of people of different nationalities; the responsibility delegated to her and the constant use of languages: "The effort invested in the language courses at the University is clearly rewarded in the internship".

She says she does not know what she will be like tomorrow, but she would like to see herself as a multi-skilled professional in different sectors, with a broad knowledge of management of companies and open to any opportunity: "I am investing part of myself to be like that".
