The University of Navarra celebrates a new edition of the Sports Day this Saturday, the 21st
More than 5,000 people are expected to attend and more than 65 different activities for all audiences, including an 'escape room'.
Next Saturday, the 21st, the University of Navarra will celebrate the XXVI edition of the Sports Day. The enclosure sports center will become the scene of various sports competitions, endurance tests, ingenuity, musical and children's performances; and also a space for solidarity. A meeting open to all audiences, in which more than 5,000 people are expected and in which 65 activities have been organized.
For the first time there will be a 'scaperoom' test , in which the goal of the game will be to reveal the secret identity of five members of an organization and overcome the logical tests that protect a power. For this, participants will only have the financial aid of their luggage at their disposal. There will be three sessions in the morning, at 11 a.m., 12 p.m. and 1 p.m., and two sessions in the afternoon, at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. A maximum of 25 participants per session has been established (5 teams with 5 players each), who must be over 18 years of age.
Attendees will be able to enjoy other activities, such as the second edition of the Gladiators Day, an obstacle course degree program , with loads, drags, crawls, crawls, walls, balancing, etc. Also the Great Challenge, in which groups of young university students will face each other until they reach the final, after overcoming different team tests. Other activities include squash, paddle tennis, volleyball, 3x3 soccer, and golf tournaments, as well as a photography contest sponsored by Ford Irusa.
The official presentation of this edition of the Sports Day will be held next Thursday at 11 am at sports center, where the rest of the program will be detailed.
Solidarity testsAmong the solidarity activities are a Zumba Marathon and the degree program of the Holi Cross Coe.
With the Zumba Master Solidarity Marathon participants will be supporting the research of childhood cancer through the foundation Children Against Cancer of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra. For each of the people registered in this activity the Sports Service of the University of Navarra will donate one euro for the fight against childhood cancer.
On the other hand, the second edition of the Holi Cross Coe will fill with color the campus with the launching of colored powders. This degree program will serve to finance the congress of Oncology for Students, organized by the students of the School of Medicine of the University of Navarra and that has as goal to promote the research for the cure of cancer.
