The high school Higher School of Religious Sciences of the University of Navarre (ISCR) has published Eucharist. The volume, written by the professor of the School of Theology Pablo Blanco, is the twenty-second book of the collection Manuales del ISCR published by EUNSA.

As the author explains, the document delves into what the Second Vatican Council has called the "summit and source" of the Christian life (cf. LG 11, PO 5, SC 10), the very centre of the Church. "It then deals with what Scripture says about the greatest of the sacraments and the place it occupies in the life of the Church, followed by a more systematic treatment of its principal dimensions, namely the Eucharist as memorial, as presence and as communion. The Eucharist also allows all that is ours to be presented as a pleasing offering to the Father".

Pablo Blanco holds a PhD in Philosophy and in Theology, as well as graduate at Philology. He has researched aesthetics and hermeneutics, relations between faith and reason, ecumenism and the theology of the sacraments. Among other books, he has published La cena del Señor. The Eucharist in Catholic-Lutheran Dialogue after Vatican II (2009), The Theology of Joseph Ratzinger. An Introduction (2012) and Joseph Ratzinger - Benedict XVI. Theology, Vatican II, Evangelisation (2013). He has established the programs of study Forum "Joseph Ratzinger" and currently teaches ecumenism, sacramental theology and Vatican II doctrine at the University.

The 'ISCR Manuals Collection' is aimed at parents, catechists and formators, teachers of religion or professionals from different fields who feel the need to improve their own training. The books published so far are the following: Introduction to Theology, Ethics, Mariology, Philosophy of Science, Pauline Writings, Pentateuch and Historical Books, Theological Anthropology, Synoptic Gospels and Acts of the Apostles, Mystery of God, Ecclesiology, Theology of Creation, Prophetic Books, Poetic and Sapiential Books, Morals of the Person: the Virtues, Philosophy of the Person, Fundamental Morals, Theology of the mission statement, Christology, Introduction to the Philosophy, Johannine Writings and Catholic Letters and Philosophical Anthropology: the Human Person.
