More than 500 attendees at the presentation of the Museo Universidad de Navarra in Madrid
The President, Ángel J. Gómez Montoro, intervened in the presentation together with the director of the Museum, Miguel López Remiro, and the architect Rafael Moneo.
"We are building a museum at the University of Navarra because you have encouraged us to do so", said Ángel Gómez Montoro to the more than 500 attendees at the ceremony of presentation of the Museum of the University of Navarra that took place in Madrid, at the Prado Museum on the same day that the ARCO 2012 Fair began.
The event, which was presented by Elisa Montserrat (Director of Communications of the Museum) and Jaime García del Barrio (Director General of Institute for Culture and Society), had three luxury interventions: Ángel José Gómez Montoro, President of the University of Navarra, Miguel López-Remiro, director of the Museum and Rafael Moneo, architect of project.
The President made a tour of the history of the Museum's project and explained how the impulse of Mª Josefa Huarte -one of the people who has donated her private collection- has been decisive to begin to project this dream.
