The Ministry of Economics subsidizes three projects of the Institute for Culture and Society

They are part of the 'Public discourse' and 'Emotional culture and identity' projects and have received a total of 69,900 euros.

The Ministry of Economics and Competitiveness of the Government of Spain has awarded 539,700 euros to 18 projects of research of the University of Navarra. Among them are three from Institute for Culture and Society (ICS).

These are "The demos in the imaginary of the new politics: the discussion on the will of the Public discourse in Europe", by project 'Public discourse', which has been awarded 20,000 euros; "Multimodal patterns of time representation", by the same project, which has received 21,500 euros; and "Bonds, emotion and identity. The moral dimension of social bonds", from project 'Emotional culture and identity", awarded 28,400 euros.            

The scholarships are intended to finance " staff, small equipment, materials and other expenses related to the objectives of project". Their duration is three years.

The call for Projects research and development of the Generation Subprogram knowledge, which is in the phase of proposal of resolution provisional, is a State Program for the Promotion of Scientific and Technical research . The Ministry finances work that is "relevant, ambitious and of clear international projection", according to the description of the program.

The research projects have been classified into two categories: "Challenges," which includes eight, and "Excellence," which includes ten. In addition to the three ICS projects mentioned above, the institutes and Schools whose projects will receive grants are: School of Communication (3 works); IESE (3); School of Law (2); School of Economics (2); School of Sciences (1); School of Philosophy and Letters (1); and the School of Engineering (1).
