Africans Investing in Africa' book launched at the University

The event was attended by director attachment of the Brenthurst Foundation, one of the most important in South Africa, and the former economic and commercial counselor of the Spanish Embassy in Johannesburg.

The University of Navarra will host on September 21st the presentation of the book Africans Investing in Africa. The event is organized by the Navarra Center for International Developmentwhich is part of the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) of the University of Navarra.

The event will be attended by Terence McNamee, director attachment of the Brenthurst Foundation, one of the most important in South Africa, and Enrique Manzanares, who until now was Spain's economic and commercial counselor at the Spanish Embassy in Johannesburg.

high school programs of study Terence McNamee was director of Publications at the Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies (RUSI) in London and publisher of its flagship publication, the RUSI Journal. He studied at universities in Canada and the UK. In 2002 he received his PhD from the London School of Economics at International Office . The topic of his thesis was South Africa's nuclear weapons program. He has been consultant on several projects in Africa in the areas of peacebuilding, post-conflict reconstruction and economic development .

Africans Investing in Africa analyzes African inward trade by showing how, where and why Africans invest in their country; identifies the economic, political and social experiences that drive or stimulate investment; and highlights examples of pan-African investors.
