Students and professionals live the experience of driving an F1 car with MotorHome Santander Universidades
The students participated in a championship in which Spanish, British, German and Polish universities competed.
The MotorHome Santander Universidades, a Formula 1 test-driving simulator, was inaugurated at the University of Navarra for the use of staff and the students of the academic center.
The event was attended by the University's President , Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero; and Administrator, Igor Errasti. Also in attendance were the director of Agreements Spain of the Global Division of Santander Universities, Carmen Caballero; the territorial director of Banco Santander in Navarra, Alfonso Sánchez; and the director of institutions of Banco Santander in Navarra, Inés Abendaño.
The students also participated in the Santander Universities Racing Champioship, the largest F1 simulation championship in the world, in which Spanish, British, German and Polish universities compete. There will be a winner for each university, who will be invited, together with a friend, to be present at the grand final to be held in Madrid next December and will be invited to visit the Ferrari Academy. The professionals of the academic center also participated in a championship, whose award was a Ferrari Super Kit.
Since the start of this tour, nearly 4,800 people have had the experience of driving a Formula 1 car thanks to the Santander Universities Global Division, which, through its activities, supports and collaborates with more than 1,040 universities and research centers around the world.
