The Unnecessary Need for Friendship is the new degree scroll of the collection 'Person and Culture', directed by the professors of the School of Theology of the University of Navarra Tomás Trigo and Enrique Molina.

This didactic essay , aimed especially at young people, is the work of Ana María Romero Iribas, professor and assistant director of Office of Academic Affairs at area of Education of the Villanueva University Center, attached to the Complutense University of Madrid.

In the book, the author addresses issues such as what true friendship consists of, its necessity in life, risks, the relationship with social networks and learning, among other topics.

Ana Mª Romero Iribas holds a BA and DEA from Philosophy. In addition to her work at Villanueva, since 2003, she has also worked as a consultant for educational projects in Latin America, and has focused her research, writings and conferences on anthropological themes such as intimacy, freedom and friendship.
