The University of Navarra and Banco Santander have renewed their agreement of partnership by which they will continue to promote various scholarship programs for students of Degree, postgraduate program and researchers. The ceremony was presided over by María Iraburu, president of the University of Navarra, and Matías Rodríguez Inciarte, president of Santander Universities. 

By virtue of this partnership agreement, both institutions reinforce their commitment in favour of access to a quality university Education , the promotion of entrepreneurship among university students and the improvement of employability. 

The president thanked "the firm commitment with talent and with the research" that each year Santander sample so that many students can study at the University of Navarra and highlights the value of this alliance "because both Education and entrepreneurship are fundamental factors to build a society where peace, justice and commitment are core topic".

For his part, Rodríguez Inciarte stressed that "at Banco Santander we are very proud to continue promoting projects in conjunction with the University that promote equal opportunities at Education, foster entrepreneurship and employability, because we are convinced that many of the problems facing humanity and society today can be tackled through Education and knowledge and I am convinced that this will contribute to a more inclusive, sustainable and equitable future".

The activities planned for this year 2022, which will benefit more than 600 people, include a focus on Education with scholarships for students from postgraduate program and doctorate, and for staff researcher at training. And a second focus on employability, with the Essentials and Boot Camp programmes , aimed at orientation for access to the labour market.

Present commitment to the future

With the signature of this agreement, , the two institutions have now been working closely together for 23 years partnership . During this time, Banco Santander has granted scholarships to national and international students, from Degree, postgraduate program and doctorate; and has provided financial aid for research projects, publications in Humanities and internship programmes in companies. In this way, Banco Santander has maintained its commitment to university talent in order to provide a satisfactory response to the challenges posed by today's society.
