It was held from June 10 to 14 at campus of the University of Navarra in Pamplona.
The PLEXUS Summer School was held from June 10 to 14. PLEXUS Summer School was held at the campus of Pamplona of the University of Navarra. This school has been organized by the project of research European PLEXUS. Philosophical, Logical, and Experimental Routes to Substructurality (MSCA Staff Exchanges 2021 (HORIZON-MSCA-2021-SE-01).
During the five days of the event, three courses of 10 hours each were given at position by Elaine Pimentel (University College London), Carlos Olarte (Université Sorbonne Paris Nord), Damián Szmuc (CONICET) and Claudia Nalon (Universidade de Brasília).
Elaine Pimentel and Carlos Olarte's course graduate "A tour on substructural logics and multi-modality" covered topics at the intersection between modal logics and semantics and substructural logics, focusing on the modal interpretation of the subexponentials of Girard's linear logic.
Damian Szmuc gave the course "From substructural logics to parastructural logics", where he explained the most recent results on the semantics and proof theory of substructural logics and invited to reflect on the nature of the failure of structural rules and their philosophical interpretation.
Claudia Nalon's course, graduate "Automation of Logics", gave a historical overview of the fundamental ideas surrounding computation and the construction of theorem provers, ending with an effective introduction to Prolog and explaining how to program a tableau-based demonstrator.
In addition, with a travel grant awarded by the project, five students from doctorate from different European universities attended this school and presented their doctoral research: Antonio Mesquita (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid), Sophie Nagler (University of St Andrews), Bas Kortenbach (Università di Pisa), Martina Zirattu (Università di Torino) and Quentin Blomet (ENS / Université de Greifswald). attend Together with them, two students of doctorate of the University of Navarra, Xavier Viñeta and Isabel Grábalos; a graduate of the University of Navarra, Alberto Villagrana; and a student of doctorate of CONICET (Argentina), Agustina Borzi, had the opportunity to visit framework of her research stay at the University of Navarra, within the project PLEXUS.
