Students Alicia Fernández (4th year of Degree in Pharmacy) and Gloriana Cardas (2nd year of Human Nutrition and Dietetics) are the new delegate and subdelegate of School of Pharmacy and Nutrition for the 2021/2022 academic year.

"This year is my second year as delegate of the School and the truth is that I came back as I enjoyed it very much last year," confesses Alicia Fernandez. "What I like most about being a delegate is to give a voice to all the students, to improve in every possible aspect of university life and, above all, the training of the students at the university and in particular, of the future pharmacists of this country."

For her part, Gloriana Cerdas aspires to be a communication channel with which students can identify: "Being subdelegate goes beyond a position that may imply greater responsibility: it is an opportunity to help by being the voice of the students and to represent their concerns, interests and suggestions. It is a challenge that implies commitment, organization and the skill of listening and communicating with others.

From her experience during the last academic year, Alicia highlights that "after having previously asked the students of the School, different sessions of training were proposed in view of the professional future and the discernment of the multiple outlets of the Degrees". As a delegate, she also had the opportunity to attend to an online congress of Pharmacy students. "It brought me a lot and helped me to look for interesting topics and make them known at School".

"Also, especially at this stage with the pandemic, the delegates have an important role to play in making the students' opinions known and proposing some improvements that will benefit the whole University," he says.
