The School de Enfermería inaugurates its 2014-2015 Open Doors conference
More than 75 people learned about Degree in Nursing through theoretical and practical sessions.

The School of Nursing inaugurated this November 15 the first conference Open Doors of the 2014-2015 academic year. 77 people came to campus in Pamplona to get to know the Degree in Nursing. Most of them were from Navarre and also from La Rioja, Guipúzcoa and Vizcaya.
At 9:30 a.m. the programmed events began with the submission documentation. Then, Joaquín Sánchez, manager of Promotion and Admissions Office of Degree of the academic center, offered an informative session about the programs of study of Nursing at the University of Navarra, along with an explanation of the processes of Admissions Office, scholarships and accommodation.
In the internship part, two activities were organized for students to test some basic nursing care techniques. In one of them, Christian Cárdenas, student 3rd year and DYA volunteer, showed his future classmates how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Elena Rodríguez, laboratory technician of the School, was in charge of the other internship in which the students learned how to administer intramuscular medication.
After a tour of the campus in Pamplona, the workshop ended with a general session on scholarships at Central Building of the university.
