The School of Pharmacy and Nutrition of the University of Navarra collaborates in a Pharmacy Trivia tournament together with the Chair Avenzoar

The winners will get the registration free conference of update in Pharmacy on diabetes to be held at the headquarters in Madrid on April 5.

The School of Pharmacy and Nutrition of the University of Navarra collaborates for the first time in a trivia tournament on the contents of the Degree of Pharmacy with Chair Avenzoar of the University of Seville.

This tournament is a competition on knowledge of Pharmacy that takes place through the app of the Chair and in which participants measure themselves on almost all subjects taught in the Degree of Pharmacy, such as Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Parasitology, Biochemistry , Immunology, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacology, etcetera.

The tournament - in which both students and professionals can participate - will take place from February 22 to March 22. The registration is done through the appavenzoar ( Android and IOS version). The participants with the best results will receive as award the complete registration to the workshop of update in Pharmacy "Diabetes: a new scenario", which will be held on April 5 for the first time at the new headquarters of the University of Navarra in Madrid.

Among the topics to be addressed at conference are new technologies applied to diabetes, a review of current treatments, main complications, etc. With guests such as Dr. Javier Escalada -endocrinologist of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra- Óscar López de Briñas -author of the blog "Reflexiones de un Jedi Azucarado"-, or Jose Barboza -Pharm D, C.D.E. University of Florida-. The workshop will close with a roundtable on new horizons in diabetes.

The Chair Avenzoar, organizer of the event, is the result of a agreement of partnership between the University of Seville and the Avenzoar Pharmaceutical Foundation.
