The School of Sciences continues its ordinary activity although in a "virtual" way. This is the message that the Dean of the School of Sciences, Luis Montuenga, has transmitted to the workers of the center thanking all of them -teachers, researchers and staff administration and services- for the effort they are making to adapt to the exceptional status that has caused the Coronavirus crisis in Spain.

Montuenga has especially thanked the teachers for their adaptation to the new digital environment so that the teaching can continue to be taught and continue, in this way, with the training of the students. "I want to thank all the teachers who, with incredible agility and willingness, have adapted the way you teach your subjects, the content and support material, so that students continue to receive the teaching that was planned for these dates."

Iker Zuriguel, Associate Dean of academic staff and research of the School, has pointed in the same line. "The response from academic staff has been incredible. Many professors even anticipated the events, talked to the students the week before and have adapted to the status in a fast and efficient way. On all Degrees of the School the teaching continues its course online in different versions: live classes, recorded sessions and sending of theoretical-practical material."

On the other hand, Montuenga also encouraged professors and researchers, as far as possible, to take advantage of this status for the "preparation of research projects, articles that are on "stand by", ideas for innovation professor, training courses, readings and study".

Luis Montuenga commented on the numerous messages of thanks that the professors are receiving from the students. "You will be happy to know that we have received many messages from students who repeatedly express their gratitude to the University and its professors for the effort you are making to keep up the pace professor".

For her part, Miriam Latorre, General Manager of the School of Sciences has recognized the effort that the staff of administration and services of the School is carrying from their homes so that the activity continues its course. "It is wonderful and very grateful to have people so willing to do anything, and with a positive sense. The whole staff has managed to create its work space at home and, even more difficult, to "reconcile" household chores, children's chores or caring for relatives with the work, which has not been interrupted or delayed at any time. Thank you all very much!".
