Last Saturday, April 17, the seniors of the University of Navarra attended the "i de alumni" event , where the University celebrated with them the transition from being student to being alumni with an "i".

The event, now in its third edition, was held in a hybrid format: both in person and broadcast live, in order to bring together the 1,826 students from Degree of the campus in Pamplona and San Sebastián, while respecting the recommended sanitary measures.

The "i for alumni" brought many surprises for the Class of 2021. The President, Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero, congratulated them: "The University and the professors are proud of your responsibility, solidarity and tenacity, especially during the last academic year". He also stressed the importance of taking good friends with you from your university days because "when we walk alone we can go faster, but with friends we always go further". The president of Alumni, Inés García Paine, connected live from Madrid and welcomed them to network from alumni. During her speech she encouraged the almost graduates to commit themselves to the University and to society with what she called the "alumni super-powers": generosity, solidarity and eagerness to serve.

The event was also attended by four of the University's alumni : Coro Celigüeta (TECNUN School of Engineering), José Martín Aguado (ADE), Mario Gil Conesa (Medicine) and Julia Illarramendi (Philology), who shared their experience as recent graduates taking a step into the working world.

Attendees also participated in a fun "ultimate Uni quiz" to measure the University's level of popular wisdom and were able to walk away with an Alumni T-shirt made exclusively for the promotion.
