Luis Herrera, Full Professor of Zoology of the School of Sciences of the University of Navarra, has been appointed president of the Panel of Experts of the Foundation for the knowledge Madri+d, quality agency in the university field of the Community of Madrid. His task will be to lead the renewal process of the accreditation of official degrees of the universities of the Spanish capital. The professor has extensive experience in this field having served for several years as position of coordinator of the Commission of assessment of the Quality and accreditation of the University of Navarra.

The Madri+d Foundation is the body designated by the committee Government of the Community of Madrid to evaluate the university environment in the region. The institution is committed to the quality and improvement of higher education Education as a way to contribute to progress and become a useful instrument for universities and citizens in general.
