The School of Canon Law of the University of Navarra has launched the third edition of the MOOC "How does the Church manage its assets? Questions of Canon Law and related issues". The course, which will be coordinated by Professor Diego Zalbidea, is free of charge and will begin on July 16.
Organized around six units, it aims to offer a global and comprehensive approach to the main issues related to the use and management of temporal goods by the Catholic Church. The second edition of the MOOC, held between February and March, was attended by 400 people.
According to Professor Zalbidea, this course aims to bring students closer to the material reality of the Church from an interdisciplinary point of view: "We are aware of the great complexity of subject and the difficulty of studying it. These are not merely technical questions, but a reflection of the very nature of the institution and, therefore, a place where the Church plays an important part of its credibility".
No previous knowledge of Canon Law or Economics is required to access the course.
