The University launches a pioneer Degree to train experts in management business with profile global and multilingual

The students of Degree in Applied Management-management Aplicada will carry out seven projects in different companies and two international internships.

ISSA-University of Navarra will offer from September 2021 the new Degree in Applied Management-management Aplicada. This is an official and unique Degree in Spain that seeks to train experts in management and organization, with fluency in at least three languages and communication skills, to work in intercultural environments

Victoria Rodríguez ChacónThe director of ISSA-University of Navarra, Victoria Rodríguez ChacónThe Degree, which is taught in a center with more than fifty years of experience in training professionals for the world of the business, responds "to the the need to reduce the gap between the training university and the management capacity demanded by companies".

The Study program consists of 240 ECTS credit and offers interdisciplinary and transversal training in four areas: management of the business and organizations, languages and communication, digital tools of management and human sciences.

"Today, it is necessary for companies to respond with agility to changes in their relationships with customers, suppliers and administrations, among others. The agility of the response is usually accompanied by simplification, optimization of the use of resources and automation of processes, allowing people to perform tasks of high added value. This results in an increase in the level of customer and employee satisfaction and contributes to the economic, social and environmental sustainability of companies," says Professor Rodriguez.

Through a project-based learning methodology (Project Based Learning), students acquire an active role that favors academic motivation and seeks the development of competencies. Organized in teams, they carry out a total of seven projects in different companies throughout the degree program, and in addition, on the last semester, students carry out curricular internships in national and international companies or institutions.

International stays and diplomas of specialization

All students of Degree in Applied Management will undertake two international internships in Boston and Paris or Cologne. These linguistic, cultural and business immersions aim to enhance the students' global profile . In addition, they have the option of going to semester of exchange to one of the more than 40 universities in 16 countries in Europe, Canada and the United States with which the University of Navarra has agreements. 

Through a exchange or curricular internships, students can obtain a University of Navarra's own diploma in the following areas: Event Management, Fashion Business Management, Sports Management, Tourism and Hospitality Services, Logistics Management, Office Management, Human Resources and Healthcare Management.
