A virtual reality circuit to simulate the effects of alcohol
The University of Navarra held an awareness-raising event on alcohol and tobacco, workshop , in which the effects of alcohol and tobacco were experienced after massive consumption.
The classroom Saludable of the School of Nursing of the University of Navarra, in partnership with the Government of Navarra, held last Saturday, November 17, a workshop of Awareness on alcohol and tobacco consumption in Carlos III Street, corner with Roncesvalles.
During the meeting, open to the general public, all those who attended were able to experience in a simulated way the effects of these substances, with real environments and situations after massive consumption. The aim of goal was to raise public awareness of the reality of alcohol and tobacco consumption, and promote , thus encouraging consumption manager.
The meeting included informative tables, as well as a virtual reality circuit where visual alterations were recreated with interactive simulation glasses. Similarly, analyses of carbon monoxide levels in exhaled air in smokers were carried out for those who wished to do so.
These conference have been subsidized by the department of Education of the Government of Navarra, through the projects presented by the Chair María Egea of the School of Nursing of the University of Navarra.
