Closing of the XXVIII MIDI Class

24 students graduate from Master's Degree in research, development and Medicines Innovation (MIDI) and 38% of them are already working.

On Friday, December 14, the closing ceremony of the XXVIII promotion of the Master's Degree in research, development and Medication Innovation (MIDI) was held at auditorium of Sciences Building of the University of Navarra. This class is made up of 24 students of 5 different nationalities and 38% of them are already working.

The celebration began with the session"Ethical quality in the research", given by Dr. José López Guzmán, Senior Associate Professor of area of Humanities Pharmaceuticals. In his discussion paper the expert stressed that ethical quality "is a call to the conscience of the researcher, which asks him to be involved and committed to the excellence of his work".

position Dr. María Javier Ramírez, Vice-Dean of academic staff and research, who emphasized that "at School of Pharmacy and Nutrition there is an individual concern for each student in order to train professionals with integrity at the service of society".

The graduates have been sent to graduate after defending the work Fin de Master's Degree, which they have completed during the last 6 months of postgraduate program. Some of them have been carried out at Departments of the University of Navarra, others at the research center Applied Medicine or the Clínica Universidad de NavarraThey have also worked in the national and international pharmaceutical industry, in companies such as Novartis, Pharmamar, Azierta, BioPraxis, Progenika Biopharma, Geiserpharma, ZIP Solutions, Biobide, Bionaturis, Laboratorios Ojer Pharma, Biosasun, Hoffmann-La Roche (Switzerland) and Liverpool John Moores University (UK).
