Ten international students from the University, "ambassadors" for Navarra
The Navarra Ambassadors program, sponsored by the regional government, connects university students from other countries with the region’s business, cultural, and social communities

Ten international students from the University of Navarra are participating in the Navarra Ambassadors 2026 program. This initiative, sponsored by the regional government, connects international students with the region’s business, cultural, and social communities.
In the current cohort, 10 of the 18 students selected by the Navarra International Program (PIN) are pursuing their Degree programs of study Degree the University of Navarra. They are Fatima Scheggi, a native of Argentina and a student of Education; Florencia Spano, who holds dual Argentine and Italian citizenship and is studying History and pursuing Diploma Archaeology; framework Ubidia, from Ecuador and a student in Degree Economics dual Degree Law and Economics ; Dominick Jacomd, also from Ecuador and a student of Chemistry; and Mareim Sidi Baba, a native of Mauritania and a student Degree Biology Degree and pursuing Diploma Clinical Biology.
Joining them are the Peruvian students Isabella Casafranca Sibina, a student Degree Philosophy, Politics, and Economics PPE) Degree ; Danna Ximena Girón Hidalgo, a psychology major; and Florencia Alfaro Benza, Economics major; Stasia Matora from Ukraine, a pharmacy major; and Maria del Mar Duhalde Echenagusía from Uruguay, an environmental sciences major.
goal is to introduce students to the business community of the region, engaging them in professional opportunities and cultural enrichment, with a focus on integrating and retaining talent. Students visit companies in core topic sectors core topic the Economics , such as Florette, Veridas, Ingeteam, 3PBIOVIAN, and Lizarte, with the goal better understanding the inner workings of these organizations, identifying the most in-demand professional profiles, and discovering potential development paths development leading companies.
The Navarra Ambassadors program received 51 applications from the two universities in Navarra, from which 18 students of 13 different nationalities were selected.
An opportunity to build a career in Navarra
For many of the participants, the program serves as an incentive to settle in Navarra. This is the case for framework Ubidia (Ecuador), who would like to stay in Navarra after graduating. "The program fits perfectly with my plans, because it aims to integrate and retain the international talent studying in Navarra. I want to learn what companies do and explore what I can contribute so that I can eventually find a job opportunity here,” she says.
For Stasia Matora (Ukraine), too, it represents an opportunity to overcome the barrier posed by unfamiliarity with the professional environment. Like framework, she also plans to live and work in Navarra. That is why she considers Navarra Ambassadors "the perfect program" for discovering that potential.
Mareim Sidi Baba (Mauritania) says the program combines two aspects that are perfect for her: development and knowledge dissemination Navarre’s natural environment. “I saw it as an incredible opportunity that links my professional future with the chance to capture and share the beauty of Navarre’s landscapes,” she explains. For her part, Florencia Spano (Argentina-Italy), who shares a purpose with her peers, particularly values the company visits and mentoring sessions included in the program, which she considers key to guiding her future career: "I hope it will allow me to better understand Navarre’s business landscape and see what I can contribute as a professional here."
