The University and Banco Santander renew their agreement to promote the scholarships of Degree and postgraduate program, and the research
submission During the ceremony, diplomas were awarded to the 49 students from Master's Degree who received scholarships from the financial institution, through Santander Universities.

The University of Navarra and Banco Santander today signed an agreement agreement under which they will continue to collaborate in two main areas: scholarships and research projects. The ceremony, presided over by Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero, President of the University, and Rodrigo Echenique, president of Santander Spain, was attended by Pedro Alonso, director of Santander Universities Spain, and Tomás Gómez-Acebo, Vice President Alumni of the academic center.
Diplomas were also awarded to the 49 students who are studying 28 different degrees at three campus of the University -Pamplona, Madrid and San Sebastián-, with the Master's Degree Santander Scholarship Program, granted by the bank.
The President thanked Santander for its " generosity and commitment to talent" so that many students can study at the University of Navarra and considered that "companies that seek to add value by creating talent and contributing to the training of professionals with concerns and an entrepreneurial spirit are a factor of success for the development of society".
For his part, Echenique highlighted the value that Education represents:"Last year alone we allocated 157 million euros to support Education higher education projects. In our mission statement as a bank to contribute to the development of people, companies and society as a whole, we dedicate our efforts to support 1,180 universities around the world, as is the case of the University of Navarra, with which we have maintained a stable partnership for 18 years now".
Maria Laura Lopez, student of Master's Degree in internship Advanced and management in Nursing, spoke on behalf of her class, and said: "The opportunity to study a Master's Degree in this University is not only to make a dream come true, but also to lay the foundation and establish the solid base of our professional path and staff to be people who contribute to society".
In addition to these grants, the bank continues to support young researchers and students from Degree to study through the Alumni Scholarships program. Santander continues to support research projects at Humanities and will promote the project 'Fundación Library Services Virtual Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra'.
