On June 16, Aida Calvo Alonso made the public defense of her doctoral thesis , entitled "development of self-passivating tungsten alloys W-Cr-ti and W-Cr-Y for application in the first wall of a future nuclear fusion reactor (DEMO)" before the tribunal chaired by Dr. José Manuel Sánchez Moreno.

After the defense of the thesis , all the members of the tribunal congratulated Aida Calvo and her directors, Dr. Carmen García-Rosales and Nerea Ordás Mur, for the research work carried out.
