Students from the University of Navarra organize a solidarity cross to fight against cancer
The Sports Day will host this initiative as a prelude to the 10th International Student Oncology congress
Students of the Schools of Sciences of the University of Navarra have organized a solidarity cross to fight against cancer, which will take place next Saturday, during the XX Sports Day.
"Together against cancer" is the motto of this activity, promoted by the committee organizer of the congress International Student Oncology (COE) in order to promote a social awareness of this disease and, at the same time, to present the tenth edition of this event to be held in late February in Pamplona.
The initiative consists of a 5 km degree program through the university campus , starting at 11 am from the sports center. The inauguration will be attended by the Dean of the School of Medicine, Jorge Iriarte, and the professor manager of congress, Salvador Martín Algarra.
The organizers encourage students, faculty, university employees and the general public to take part in this activity and join in the fight against cancer. Registrations can be made online or at sports center before the start of the cross country run. The cost of registration is 2 euros per participant.
