The VII congress of Oncology for students of the University of Navarra releases a new video
The quotation will take place from March 3 to 5 under the degree scroll of 'Cancer and Society'.
The student organizers of congress of Oncology for Students of the University of Navarra, which will take place from March 3 to 5, 2011, have presented the video of the VII edition, which is entitled "Cancer and Society" at degree scroll .
The quotation, aimed at students of Medicine, Science, Nursing and Pharmacy at the academic center, as well as students from other universities, is an entirely student-driven initiative.
Structured in keynote lectures, this year the congress will feature Dr. José Ramón Germá, director of the Strategic Plan of high school Catalan Oncology; Dr. Manuel Gonzalez-Baron, director of Oncology and Palliative Programs at MD Anderson International Spain, who will speak on suffering in the patient's environment; and Dr. Begoña Barragan, president of group Spanish Cancer Patients (GEPAC), whose lecture is entitled "Sick with cancer: more than just patients".
In addition, students will present papers - which will be available at award on the last workshop-, attend round tables, present posters on the subject and analyze clinical cases interactively with experts from the Departments Oncology, General Surgery, Anatomy Pathology and Radiodiagnostics departments of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra.
