GDG Vitoria organized last Wednesday November 18th an online session on Artificial Intelligence in the Basque capital. The workshop is part of a series of events aimed to disseminate, enhance and establish links between experts and anyone interested in learning the technologies used and see what projects in different sectors, are being carried out in the city in relation to AI.

Due to Covid-19, the event was entirely online and counted with the participation of:

• Aitor Moreno: AI Area Manager at Ibermática - Talk: AI in Alava

• Borja Balparda: CEO & Data Scientist at Data Value Management - Talk: Machine Learning for the generation of knowledge and predictive systems

• Erik Rodriguez: Innovation Manager at DSLab - Talk: Automatic recognition and classification of benthopelagic species in oceanic observatories

• Oscar Guadilla: manager of innovation and Technology Surveillance in EJIE - Talk: Lessons learned with Artificial Intelligence in the Basque Government.

• Rafael Sánchez: Head of Service of the OSI Health Unit management - Talk: AI in BioAraba

• Lorenzo Díaz de Apodaca: partner Director of AIRESTUDIO, Geoinformation Technologies and OSANE Consulting - Talk: AI applied to the management of data 3D from Massive Capture Systems.

The presentations were followed by a "roundtable" in which the speakers took part.
