The Food Bank of Navarra (BAN) has received in its facilities 378,000 kilos after "La Gran Recogida" carried out on November 29th and 30th in the region and in which 184 establishments have collaborated. With this campaign, in which 85 UAS-Tantaka volunteers participated (77 collecting food and 8 tweeters), the expectations set by the organization, which estimated the amount at 300,000 kilos, have been widely exceeded.

Those responsible for the Food Bank of Navarra have thanked, on behalf of the foundation and on behalf of the 39,000 people who receive the products, the work of the 2,100 volunteers, donors and collaborators especially for the approach of Christmas. Likewise, the representatives of BAN thanked the partnership of the establishments that hosted this collection. 

In addition to the food that individuals wanted to contribute to "La Gran Recogida", the companies Coviran, Eroski Center, Eroski Hiper and Eroski City, made a contribution, which in the case of Coviran is 100% of what was purchased in these surfaces and that means 14.808 kilos of food; Eroski Center, 7%, amounting to 5,216 kilos; Eroski Hiper, 7%, amounting to 1,366 kilos and Eroski City, also 7%, amounting to 885 kilos. In total, these establishments contributed 22,276 kilos. With this amount, in December, the Food Bank has collected a total of 400,755 kilos.
