The participants were able to get to know the academic center up close and carry out activities related to the different professional careers: trial simulations, resolution of clinical cases in the Simulation Center or drawing workshops. Students from various Schools accompanied these young people to help them make the most of their stay and feel fully welcomed. This includes Javier Martí, a fifth-year student in Business Administration and Law, and Nuria Peregrín, a third-year student in Biochemistry two of the 20 student assistants have volunteered their financial aid. Degree The 12 young people -10 with some kind of disability or special educational needs and 2 from rural areas- who participated in this edition have lived with them. In one week they have taken part in the academic, cultural and sporting life, and have learned first-hand about the university experience.

"I have been collaborating in this program for two years, which has made me grow in humility. I come to help, but many times I come out more helped." |
"When you see a person with a disability, the first thing you feel is compassion, but as you talk to them you realize that they are a thousand steps ahead of you. Then, you are able to eliminate any barriers." |
