Donations for Alumni Scholarships will multiply thanks to IEISA
The University signature a agreement by which the foundation will complement the new contributions received.
The University of Navarra and IEISA have signed an agreement agreement to collaborate through a matching funds system. matching funds in favor of the Alumni Scholarships Program, aimed at talented students without financial resources who want to study at the University.
This is an initiative in which the entity will make an economic contribution depending on the amount of new donations received by third parties. "We want to help the scholarship program and also encourage partnership from other people and institutions," states Alberto Horcajo, president of the collaborating foundation's board of trustees .
IEISA's financial aid will increase the higher the donations received: from 1 euro for every 3 euros received if up to 200,000 euros are raised; up to a maximum of 650,000 euros, in which case the Foundation would double the contribution. "We are very grateful for the Foundation's partnership and hope that the matching funds initiative will encourage many people to contribute to Alumni Scholarships," says Igor Errasti, Administrator of the University of Navarra.
More than 1,000 students have benefited from the program.IEISA has been collaborating with the Alumni Scholarships Program since 2004. This program has been helping young people with excellent academic transcript and without sufficient financial resources to study at the University of Navarra for more than 15 years. More than 1,000 students have benefited from the program since its inception. In total, 380 young people from 26 countries are studying this year at programs of study thanks to this program.
The program's current budget is 2.4 million euros, with an average amount of 6,315.8 euros per scholarship. The initiative is funded entirely by donations from alumni, companies and institutions.
