Dr. Luis Montuenga, new member of the European Academy of Cancer Sciences

This institution, made up of more than 200 European oncologists and researchers, recognizes the outstanding contribution of the scientist from the Cancer Center at Clínica Universidad de Navarra, who will be able to participate in proposals for new European policies against cancer.

The Dr. Luis Montuenga, researcher Cancer Center Clínica Universidad de Navarra (CCUN), who carries out his scientific work in the Solid Tumors Program at the Cima, has been elected a fellow of the European Academy of Cancer Sciences (EACS). This institution, composed of renowned oncologists and researchers, promotes strategies to improve prevention, early detection, and therapeutic treatments for cancer patients.

With this appointment, EACS members have recognized the contributions of Dr. Montuega, researcher of the group  group at Cima. "I feel very honored, and somewhat overwhelmed, to have been elected a member of the Academy by these distinguished European researchers. He also belongs tothe Lung Cancer Policy Networkand the committee the association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC).
