Born in Mexico, organized, persistent, and with a deep commitment to service, Valeria Guerrero wanted to bring to campus charitable initiative that she had already experienced in high school. With the support of Tantaka and together with eight other students, she launched "Roses Against Trafficking," a campaign to raise funds for a shelter for women who are victims of this scourge.

Aware that she couldn't do everything on her own, she acknowledges that this experience taught her to delegate and trust her team. A team made up of Ana Lorenza Uribe, Martina Gómez Tobon, María Magdalena Sánchez Luna, Luis Pavón, Andrés Marcelo Lara, Mar Martínez Pouget, Andrea Armesto, and Cayetana Mur. She particularly highlights the commitment and submission Ana Uribe and Mar Pouget, whose support was core topic the project off the ground.

The goal ambitious: to sell 1,500 roses. The result expectations: €2,776 raised.

Today we put ourselves in your shoes so you can tell us about your experience.

1. How did the "Roses Against Trafficking" initiative come about?
In high school a Valentine's Day rose sale to support victims of trafficking. When I got to college, I was excited to implement the initiative here, so I gathered a team of friends from different majors and, with the support of Tantaka, everything started to take shape.

2. What was the biggest challenge the campaign?
Not knowing until the last minute if we would sell all 1,500 roses, but we achieved our goal!

3. What has leading such an initiative taught you?
Learning to delegate and trust my team. It was impossible to do everything on my own, and that forced me to trust others.

4. What is the first thing you do when you wake up?
Check my phone... although I try not to.

5. Beach or mountains
Beach.

6. Cold in the north or heat in the south?
Heat in the south.

7. Tortilla with or without onions?
Without onions.

8. Hanging out with friends or staying in with a movie and a blanket?
Hanging out with friends.

9. Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate?
Hot chocolate.

10. Plan everything or improvise as you go?
Plan everything.

11. Movie, book, and TV series
Movie: "Like Water for Chocolate"; Book: "To Kill a Mockingbird" or "Little Women"; TV series: "Gilmore Girls."

12. A song you never tire of listening to?
"Ciega, Sordomuda" by Shakira.

13. Sweet or savory?
Sweet.

14. Favorite spot on campus?
high school Mayor .

15. And in the world?
My uncle's house in Chapala, Mexico.

16. If you were a Disney character, which one would you be?
Mulan.

17. Where do you see yourself in five years?
In a work allows me to serve and give myself to others and my family.

18. One dream fulfilled and another yet to be fulfilled
Fulfilled: moving to another continent and feeling at home in Pamplona. Yet to be fulfilled: founding my own NGO.

19. Where is your best friend here at the university from?
Two of my closest friends are Spanish and one is Mexican.

20. The University of Navarra is...
