More than twenty researchers from five countries participate in the International colloquium "María de Zayas, letter and desire".

It was co-organised by GRISO and the Centre d'études supérieures de la Renaissance (CESR) of the University of Tours.

On 17 and 18 January, the Internationalcolloquium "María de Zayas, letra y deseo", co-organised by the group de research Siglo de Oro (GRISO) and the Scène Européenne-Centred'études supérieures de la Renaissance (CESR) of the University of Tours, was held at modality virtual. University of Tours.

The meeting was coordinated by professors Carlos Mata, from GRISO; Juan Carlos Garrot, from the Université de Tours; and Javier Espejo, from the Université Catholique de l'Ouest (UCO). The colloquium was specially designed for French students preparing for the test of the Agrégation d'espagnolThe course was also open to scholars of the Spanish Golden Age and, in general, to anyone interested. A total of 24 researchers from Germany, Colombia, Spain, the United States and France took part.

The programme of the meeting included eleven lectures, three round tables ("The theatre of María de Zayas and its current relevance", "Methodology of the dissertation for the Agrégation" and "Women and feminism in María de Zayas") and a session at presentation of new publications and projects on the writer.
