Fifty physicists from centers and universities around the world have gathered at the University of Navarra in an international congress tribute to Professor Héctor L. Mancini, one of the promoters of the Physicshigh school of the School of Sciences of the University of Navarra.
The participants - many of them former collaborators of Professor Mancini - are some of the most relevant specialists in the field of non-equilibrium systems and nonlinear dynamics. These are areas in which Professor Mancini has played an important role and which range from laser physics to the synchronization of complex networks, on which various conferences were held.
The experts came from universities and centers such as the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, in Germany; the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), in France; or the high school de Ciencias Matemáticas del CSIC, in Madrid.
