Isabel Ferrer Dalmau: "It has been an honor to be able to carry out the design of the Day of the patron saint".

A 2nd year ISSA School of Management Assistants student is the author of the image for the School's 2017 patron saint Day and for Schools Law and Economics.

patron saint I sabel Ferrer, 2nd year student of Degree in Management Assistance, is the author of the image used for the different formats of the ISSA School of Management Assistants and Schools Law and Economics Day, which will be held on Wednesday, February 22.

Since she was a child she has always liked to draw "especially during the summer vacations", but it was this January when, after being given a tablet, she switched from physical paper to electronic format: "At first it's strange, because you can't look at what you draw directly, you have to look at the screen, but eventually you get used to it and it's much easier than drawing on paper.

What has it meant for you to realize the design of the Day of the patron saint of the three Schools?

When I was proposed the project I was very excited and suddenly I had a lot of ideas for the design. But I also had the challenge that all the Schools would like it. I was looking for something simple but at the same time different. I didn't know if it was going to be up to the task and I wanted to represent ISSA well. It was an honor for me to be able to make the design for patron saint Day and to have it accepted by all the Schools.

How do you value the experience?

It has been very enriching. Few people realize the work involved in creating the entire advertising of an event (posters, tickets...) in a short period of time. Learning how to do it has been amazing. Although it involves a lot work, I have loved being able to help in this project.

Why did you notice the entrance of Amigos Building as a remarkable part of design?

The entrance of the Amigos Building is something that unites all the Schools that celebrate the Day of the patron saint and it is probably the most characteristic element of the Building: it is easy to recognize by the students. Therefore, not wanting to fill the design with images, I decided to capture only this part.
