German government announces two new scholarship programs for intensive and summer courses

The German government has announced new scholarships through the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service exchange ) for students and university students from other countries who are interested in living and studying in Germany for a period of time. The scholarships are for intensive German language courses and summer courses at universities.

Furthermore, those who have already received a DAAD scholarship for an intensive course or a summer course will have to wait 3 years before they can apply for a DAAD grant again at apply for .

SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTENSIVE GERMAN COURSES IN GERMANYCandidates:

Students who at the beginning of the scholarship have completed at least 2 years of programs of study higher education of any specialization program -except: Philology German, German as a foreign language language , Translation and Interpreting with German and Modern Languages and their Literatures with German.

Graduates working at the university without 6 years having elapsed since obtaining the degree scroll.

Doctoral students.

Final year students of degree program who demonstrate, with certificate university, that they will study the following year Master's Degree.

Required level of German: minimum A1 C and maximum B1.1.
Duration: 2 months
Endowment: €2,300

SCHOLARSHIP FOR SUMMER COURSES AT GERMAN UNIVERSITIESCandidates:

Students in Degree and master's degree programs of any discipline who, at the beginning of the scholarship, have completed at least 2 years of programs of study higher education.

We do not accept applications from graduates with degree scroll from Master's Degree or doctorates.

Minimum level of German required: B1.
Duration: 3 to 4 weeks (maximum 5 days/week not including day of arrival and day of departure), minimum 5 teaching hours/week.
Endowment: €850
