The blog 'Church and New Evangelization' celebrates its first anniversary
The theologian Ramiro Pellitero, who has published 117 posts, analyzes in his last post of 2011 how to live Christmas in a Christian way.
The blog 'Church and New Evangelization' has completed one year of life. Its creator, the theologian of the University of Navarra Ramiro Pellitero, also chaplain of the School of Sciences of the campus, has published 117 entries since its launch with reflections on the Church, the New Evangelization and the mission statement of Christians. In his last post of 2011 he analyzes how to live Christmas in a Christian way.
"I thought I could contribute in this way to the New Evangelization, which deserves all our efforts. It is important to collaborate so that the teachings of Benedict XVI are better known and brought to the internship", says Professor Pellitero. "In the first steps of the blog - he explains - the constitution of the Pontifical committee for the New Evangelization was recent. Now we have ahead of us the next Universal Synod on the New Evangelization (October 2012), the Year of Faith, the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council...".
Church and New Evangelization' is addressed to educators (priests, professors and teachers, fathers and mothers of families, formators of Christian communities, catechists, etc.); to university students and, in general, to anyone interested in questions related to the Catholic Church.
Visitors from all over the world
The blog has visitors from all Spanish-speaking countries, and from other places such as the USA, Russia, Germany and Italy. "Often friends and strangers write to me and tell me that the blog financial aid is useful for their educational or formative work, or for their life staff. This encourages me to continue with this work," says the professor at School of Theology.
In his entries, Ramiro Pellitero combines the texts -some of them published in Cope.es, Religión Confidencial and Análisis Digital- with works of art, cinema, music and literature: "I try to reflect how the 'way of beauty' is a good way for Education in faith. I know that many people use the blog because they appreciate these contents".
