The University of Navarra, among the top 100 universities in the world in six subjects, according to the QS rankings
The University ranks first in Spain in Accounting and Finance, Communication and Nursing; and second in Philosophy, Theology and Business Management and Administration.

The University of Navarra is one of the top one hundred universities in the world in the subjects of PhilosophyTheology and programs of study on religion, Nursing, Communication and Media programs of study , Accounting and Finance, and Business Management and Administration. This has been indicated by the QS World Ranking by Subject 2023, which also places the University in first place in Spain in Accounting and Finance, Communication and Nursing, tied with another university in the latter two; and in second place, in PhilosophyTheology and Business Management and Administration.
The University of Navarra is among the top 100 in the world in six subjects, out of a total of 15 subjects in which it is ranked. Specifically, it ranks 23rd in Business Management and Administration, 35th in Theology and programs of study on Religion, 53rd in Accounting and Finance, and in the top 50-100 in Nursing and Communication. PhilosophyNursing and Communication. Between 100 and 200 appear Law ( 101-150), Economics and Econometrics (151-200) and Medicine (151-200); and between positions 200 and 300, Pharmacy and Pharmacology (201-250), Architecture (201-240) and Psychology (251-300). Beyond those positions, the University of Navarra manages to rank in Biological Sciences (301-350) and Electrical and Electronic Engineering (401-450).
In Spain, the University ranks first or second in six subjects, on some occasions tied with another university. It is first in Nursing ( tied with the University of Barcelona and the University of Granada) and Communication (tied with the Complutense University), and in Accounting and Finance, in this case alone. It is second, without tying, in PhilosophyTheology and programs of study on Religion, and Business Management and Administration. The University of Navarra is also fifth in Spain in Medicine, Architecture, Economics and Econometrics and Law, the latter three tied with another Spanish center.
According to Secundino Fernández, Vice President of Office of Academic Affairs of the University of Navarra, the ranking "confirms the work of improvement in the areas professor and researcher in a wide variety of disciplines. These results recognize the effort for a transformative Education and an impactful and focused research , objectives of our Strategy 2025. Furthermore, they encourage us to continue in our mission statement of training good professionals with a strong sense of service to society."
The QS ranking by area assesses the reputation among employers and academics based on the opinion of more than 150,000 professors and 99,000 employers, as well as the impact and volume of the research (academic citations and h-index), taking the data from the Scopus database. QS evaluates universities in five broad areas (Arts and HumanitiesEngineering and Technology, Life Sciences and Medicine, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences) and 54 sub-areas. In total, the ranking includes more than 1,500 universities from 93 locations worldwide.
