The University of Navarra is first in Spain in "teaching and learning", according to the CYD ranking presented by the Foundation knowledge and development. The academic center of Navarra obtains a high performing in 8 of the nine indicators evaluated in this area, the same as the Autonomous University of Madrid. According to CYD's 2019 report , it stands out in the indicators of graduation rate of Master's Degree and Degree, performance rate and student body success rate.

The University of Navarra also obtains second place in the area of "research", with good results in indicators such as its capacity to attract external funds, publications per professor and the impact of its academic work, among others. In this area it shares score with the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, the Rovira i Virgili University and the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

According to the study, which includes 36 indicators of academic performance, the University of Navarra is the third best in Spain in overall results, behind the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Autonomous University of Madrid.

This report, the largest ranking of Spanish universities, analyzes in this edition 73 academic centers, 23 areas of knowledge and 2,522 degrees from Degree and Master's Degree. For this purpose, it divides the 36 indicators into five areas: teaching and learning, research, transfer of knowledge, international orientation and contribution to regional development .

The academic center of Navarra obtains in the ranking a total of 24 indicators of higher performance, 7 indicators of intermediate performance and 3 of lower performance. Thus, it ranks first in Spain in "teaching and Learning", with 8 indicators of higher performance; second in "research", with 6 indicators of higher performance; and fourth in Transfer of knowledge, with 6 indicators of higher performance.

By fields, in the STEM areas (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), analyzed in more detail in this edition, the University of Navarra stands out in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Industrial Engineering.

Likewise, according to this study by the Foundation knowledge and development, Navarra is the first autonomous community in teaching and learning; and the third in research, in knowledge transfer and international orientation.

The four autonomous communities with the highest issue of high performing indicators are Navarra, Catalonia, Madrid and the Basque Country. The Autonomous Community of Foral is in second place, with 24 indicators of highest performance and 10 of intermediate performance.
