"The best communication agency that a business can have is its own employees". This was emphasized by Social & Digital Selling professor, #SocialSelling influencer and LinkedIn expert, Alex López, during the session "How to use LinkedIn to position yourself professionally?", organized by the Master's Degree at Personnel Management Service in Organizations of the School of Economics of the University of Navarra.

López believes that Departments of Personnel Management Service should encourage and lead the communication of the corporate brand through the company's employees. The expert assures that more people can be reached on social networks through the employees of business than through institutional channels.

In this regard, he recalls that, in most cases, employee does not share the contents of business on social networks for fear of publishing something unfavorable for him or for his business. To solve this problem, the expert recommends establishing a clear communication policy on social networks and providing employees with authorized content so that they can disseminate it without fear of making a mistake.

In the case of the human resources staff , he advises recruiters to take care of their profiles on social networks and to separate personal profiles from professional ones. Today, he says, not only do recruiters research candidates on social networks, but also the other way around: candidates study the profiles of business and the recruiter.

On the other hand, the expert highlighted the benefits of #SocialSelling, a technique that uses social networks to attract potential customers to a brand, generating a conversation and a relationship of trust even before proposing a sale.

Alex López López is in the Top 20 worldwide influencers in #Socialselling, 1st in Spanish, and collaborates as a Linkedin and Social & Digital Selling trainer at IESE Business School. Professor Lopez has lectured internationally on Social Selling & Linkedin in Argentina, Uruguay, Portugal, Andorra, Guatemala and Chile.
