The Associate Dean of the School of Nursing of the University of Navarra also directs the Master's Degree in Bioethics at the academic center.
José López Guzmán, Associate Dean of the School of Nursing of the University of Navarra and director of the Master's Degree in Bioethics of the School of Medicine, has been appointed national corresponding academician-elect of the Royal National Academy of Pharmacy.
The objectives of this institution are to promote the research and the study of Pharmaceutical Sciences and its related fields; to advise the Government of the Nation, Public Administrations, etc., in all matters related to Pharmaceutical Sciences and Medicines, and everything related to them; as well as to prepare reports or opinions on the matters that are proper to it.
Professor López Guzmán is graduate in Pharmacy from the University of Valencia, where he obtained the Degree of doctor. In 1994 he joined the University of Navarra as a professor at department of Humanities Biomedical Sciences.
During the academic year 95-96, José López Guzmán was Associate Professor to the Office of Student Affairs of the School of Pharmacy. From 1996 to 1998 he was director of programs of study of Pharmacy and member of the Commission in charge of the follow-up of the supervised practices of this School.
He was Vice President of Alumni from 1998 to 2001, year in which he was appointed Vice President of University Extension (until 2004).
