The ATLANTES Program of the ICS organizes a course on the collection of data in the qualitative research

Among the speakers will be Carole Robinson, professor at the University of British Columbia (Canada).

The ATLANTES Program Program of the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS), together with the Medical Education Unit of the School of Medicine, organizes the course 'Data collection within qualitative research methodologies'. The program aims, first of all, to promote the knowledge of the qualitative research and the development of the necessary skills for the collection of data. It will take place on February 26, 27 and 28, and the deadline for registration is February 20.

The course will present the importance of qualitative research for the Education, the research and the management clinic, and will discuss the basics of its main methodologies: ethnography, phenomenology, narrative and grounded theory at data.

The following speakers will give the course: Carole Robinson, professor at the University of British Columbia (Canada) and visiting researcher of the ATLANTES Program; María Arantzamendi, professor at the School of Nursing and ATLANTES researcher; Olga López, professor at the School of Nursing; and sociologist José Miguel Carrasco, researcher of ATLANTES.
