The School of Canon Law offers a series of itineraries of specialization
The itineraries are aimed at second year students of licentiate degree at Canon Law and will begin in the 2016-17 academic year.
The School of Canon Law of the University of Navarra offers from the academic year 2016-17 the possibility of carrying out, at the same time that the programs of study of licentiate degree is being taken, some Itineraries of specialization in six areas of Church Law with which it is intended to reinforce the theoretical preparationinternship that students already receive with the ordinary curriculum of programs of study.
The six Itineraries of specialization (of 9 ECTS credit each) offered by School are: Canonical Marriage Law (professors Juan Ignacio Bañares and Jordi Bosch), internship Procesal (professors Gerardo Núñez and Rafael Rodríguez Ocaña), Administrative Law. Diocesan government (professor Jorge Miras), Derecho Patrimonial. Economic Support of the Church (Professor Diego Zalbidea), Criminal Law. Norms and procedures (Professor José Bernal) and Law of Associations and Foundations (Professors Jorge Otaduy and José Antonio Fuentes).
The program consists of two elective subjects of 4.5 ECTS credit each, which are developed during the second and third year respectively. Each subject consists mainly of a directed plan of readings, commentary of documents and regulatory texts, practical work and exercises, always under the guide of the professor in charge of pathway.
First year students who are interested in following any of these Itineraries must submit a written request at administrative office Academic requesting their Admissions Office before May 15, 2016.
