Welcome to our new alumni

With the University of Navarra Museum packed with more than 900 attendees, the eighth edition of the “i” Alumni event was held on March 17

In a festive and lively atmosphere that included time for contests and prizes, the event, hosted by director Íñigo Gutiérrez (TECNUN ’98, PhD ’04) and César González (COM ’25), featured Filmin’s Strategic Director, Helena Oller (COM ’18, MEGEC ’23), who led a session titled “Lessons from the Movies for Life.” Using various films as a common thread throughout her talk, Oller urged attendees not to cling to set plans, to choose environments that foster growth, and to maintain curiosity about what is happening around them. Additionally, the School of Communication alumna reminded students of the importance of building their lives day by day and never forgetting that people are more than just their work.

Throughout the exhibition, he didn’t want to miss the opportunity to encourage you to always stay purpose , not to be afraid to change your minds—but “not your values”—and to make decisions and make mistakes.

In addition, during the event, all participants took a “final quiz” using the Kahoot platform. Working in teams, the students tried to correctly answer various questions, some easier than others. After a close competition, the School of Communication first place at the last moment, followed by ISSA and the School of Law.

 

 
 

Following that, the Alumni Association held a raffle for three prizes, which were drawn based issue . The winners were students Samuel Ebinu, José Mercadal, and Eneko Fernández, from the Schools , Law, and Engineering, respectively. They won prizes ranging from merchandise to a go-karting experience for four people.

  
 

The event concluded with remarks by the president, María Iraburu (BIO '87 | PhD '92), who thanked the students for “the hours of study, hard work, rest, and friendship.” Iraburu reminded them: “The University is, above all, about people. And you have been here as a vibrant and engaged academic community. Thank you for everything.”

The event came to a close with a performance by the finalists of *La Voz de tu facultad*, who sang the well-known song “I Gotta Feeling,” getting the audience to sing and dance along.
