The stigma of mental illness
The Mental Health Rehabilitation Clinic of Navarra exhibits a work against this stigma at Hexagon Building
The Mental Health Rehabilitation Clinic exhibits during the last weeks of June at the Hexagon Building of the University of Navarra a pictorial work made by some patients in a workshop led by the artist Christopher Caro.
The sample is titled. "Subliminal text in temporal planes participated in group with attendance literate" and has as goal destigmatize mental illness. The paintings are located on platform zero of the building Hexagon Building in the form of cubes and can be visited until June 27 . They have been made by more than twenty patients of the health center during three months.
Christopher Caro, who has led the workshop on a volunteer basis, emphasized during Thursday's guided visit that it is a great opportunity for these people to expose their work, as it allows them to show society that they are capable of developing their many skills.
The collection consists of 18 panels in size 120 x 120 cm, support DM and wood with mixed technique: acrylic and other materials.
